Then there are the works of Louis Tiffany whose famous collection is housed here in the Morse Museum of American Art. For aficionados of Tiffany art, this is the place to visit with the largest display anywhere in the world, including jewelry, paintings, glass, pottery and ornaments.
Orlando is certainly a city for all age groups and not solely designed for the amusement of children as family and adult attractions are in equal numbers. The choice of evening entertainment for vacations in Orlando is as diverse as the range of activities available during daylight hours with themed shows to Disney's Pleasure Island or City walk at Universal.
Take the Orlando Science Center which can offer over 200,000 square feet of exhibitions and displays in ten huge halls; its focus is to provide a basis for experimenting, and learning science and technology. If your preference is in railways then the International Trolley and Train Museum on International drive will be a pleasant surprise with 14 trains running continuously and three waterfalls in a space of about 4,000 square feet.
If you have seen the Titanic-ship of Dreams film then you will enjoy the exhibition along International Drive that tells the story using large sets and depictions from the ship as a background. Of course if you prefer something more relaxing then you should visit Lake Eola Park, situated in the heart of downtown; this is the city's main attraction with 43 acres of beautiful sidewalks and a boating lake.
However, there aren't that many visitors who visit Orlando without a trip to one of the four main Disney theme parks or the equally impressive Universal studios; where a person's age really doesn't matter. If you are on you first Orlando vacation, try to visit all the major attractions first because it is almost certain you will return again another year.
Fitness Center
Look for an fitness center that is not just a hole in the wall or afterthought. You've seen these before, old equipment in a 2 x 4 sq ft room. Look for a nice spacious setting with TV, treadmills, interval trainers and weight equipment. Most vacation rental communities have nothing at all, so check what they have if they do.
Lockers and Showers
Before your workout you may need a place to store your belongings and after your workout you may want to shower and clean up. This is a convenience you will miss if it is not available.
Sauna and Steam room

In an unfamiliar town looking for a grocery store or market is a huge inconvenience. Most of the time the one you find is so expensive you wonder why you even bothered. Find a vacation property that has a market nearby, and ask if it has regular, 'real' world prices.
' We were so shocked that the prices they have at Publix. They had better prices than our grocery store at home. We bought stuff to make breakfast. We had such a good time. We had 3 eggs every morning we would go a different room for breakfast. In the evenings we had a ball at the Tikki Bar. They have a terrific staff and even better drinks.'
